A great place to stop in on your way back or from Auckland. Stopped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon for a quick snack, toilet break, and a drink in the sun. The place is always full with the locals and passersby. Food looks amazing, unfortunately wasn’t able to have any on such a short stop in.

What bedtime of the year to visit...The stuff we're absolutely amazing! Can not praise them enough, from the bar staff to the waiting staff, to the staff in the kitchen..A really nice cold beer after a long day is just what we needed!The food... ooohhhhhh.... the food...Definitely worth every penny you spend that's for sure. What we ordered is definitely not what we expected... it was way more!Then the embers in the fire kept things really comfortable and cozy...All and all, it was an excellent experience! Would definitely stop in more often.

Great food, service and value...Had a quick meal here on our way to Auckland. I had a venison salad and hubby had Muddy's special double burger (best burger we've tasted in the North Island so far!) And bonus: Kids ate for free (Mon-Wed). Coffee was good too. We will be back for sure!

First time visiting here and for my birthday and I have to say, was amazing. Restaurant was empty which was nice, didn't have to wait long for food or service. The bar side was fully packed and the alcohol was strong soon as you walked in before entering the restaurant. Pregnant nose and all. The atmosphere felt cabin like which I loved. Food was amazing onion rings, wedges and the lamb shank, simply divine and didn't disappoint. The staff were super friendly too. Bit on the pricey side for lamb shanks but worth it and close to home. Not having to travel to Papakura for lamb shanks Would definitely come here again when my bank balance allows it

What a great place...service was great, food was great. Quite happy to bring your meal outside as I had my little dog with me. They could do with maybe a dog water bowl outside as there were three lovely doggies there when I was.

Wow oh wow! Fabulous food! Ordered their famous banger and mash (swapped mash for veges) and looked at what I received! Top top top compliments!!!
